It is crucial that men and women join together to fight this crime. We must become allies. It's not just a "women's issue".

The Truth Will Set You Free
How dare you?! How dare you continue to lie and deceive?! I've wanted to hate you, but now I just beg you to give up and get help and give your daughter the peace she deserves. You betrayed a sacred trust, yet you didn't know what a fighter your daughter is. She's still fighting and she will be heard. No matter how slow justice comes, I will always protect her from you. You can't hide from yourself and you can't hide from the truth. You will never hurt my little girl again.

A Voice for The Children
Please, please believe the children. Always believe the children. Children don't lie and we need to be heard!! I'm 10 years old and I'm still waiting for the "system" to listen.

It is truly sad that in our society sexual assault victims are victimized not only by their attacker but also by the system designed to "protect" them. It will be a great day when our legal system is truly fair and just. Until then, the oppressed will continue to be oppressed.

She was your daughter, what were you thinking?
You preached the loving Father, were you a loving father?
From ages six to twelve you tortured your little girl, what were you thinking?
You made us keep secrets, to protect you.
We lived with shame and fear to protect you.
That's what you were thinking!
Ten years ago the secret was disclosed.
We talked, we cried, we got counseling, we healed.
Now we are happy and are lives are free from you forever.
That
's what we are thinking!!!!

My sorrow and my tears have now been converted to courage, wisdom, and the strength to help others. The changes that we undergo as survivors can drain us from continuing in life but we must be strong because we are powerful. We are not alone now or ever.

Not only my body was raped but my soul and essence were as well - all stolen from me at a young age. I never knew who I could have been but instead I have become because of what has happened to me. I am a survivor. I am living life for the first time in 40 years after finally knowing that my abusers can never harm me again and that I am more powerful than they ever will be. I AM ALIVE!
