Centre Safe seeks a part-time Sexual and Domestic Violence Trauma Therapist to provide individual and/or group therapy to survivors of sexual and domestic violence and stalking for 20 – 24 hours per week (preparation, follow-up and case management included). Responsibilities include the provision of therapy services to clients of Centre Safe and eligible clients of Centre Volunteers in Medicine in the State College locations of each organization. The Therapist will utilize a trauma-informed approach and have experience with evidence-based trauma therapy modalities. They will also provide therapeutic services within the framework of Centre Safe’s Core Values:

Successful candidates will be licensed or license-eligible, have a Master’s degree in counseling, social work or a related field, and a commitment to on-going professional development. Experience in the provision of services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and in private practice therapy settings is preferred. Salary for this position is $25.00 per hour.
