SARCC: Truama Therapist

Full-time/ Non-Exempt

SARCC is a non-profit human service organization focused on the healing the prevention of sexual violence, expanding their program offerings to include therapy services. The Trauma Therapist is part of a team of care providers offering in-depth and specialized trauma treatment for survivors of sexual violence and their family members. Our organization has a commitment to valuing the decision-making and lived experience of the survivors we serve. The successful candidate will provide therapy to adult and child survivors of sexual violence primarily in Schuylkill County. Therapy services will be provided in a mobile setting to meet the needs of the client.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field; License to practice in the state of Pennsylvania preferred; LCSW or equivalent to practice and provide supervision preferred; 3 years of practical experience in the provision of therapy preferred; Good verbal and written communication skills; Comfort with computers and technology; ability to interact with people who are of diverse cultural backgrounds; have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation; Act 33, 34, and 114 clearances.
