Seeking a full-time Emergency Shelter Case Manager. The Case Manager will work with women and women with children experiencing homelessness to attain affordable and stable housing by applying trauma-informed care principles.
Primary responsibilities include: case management to individuals and families enrolled in the YWCA Emergency Shelter, developing individual service plans, assisting participants in gaining access to mainstream services and community services, data collection and recording; preparing monthly program reports, and assisting clients to gain self-sufficiency. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in human services or related field with 2 years' experience, or Associate's degree with 4 years' experience.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of housing, employment and supportive resources, excellent written and verbal communication skills, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to respond to difficult situations professionally. Position requires a valid driver's license, clean driving history, reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
Child abuse, criminal and FBI clearances also required. Experience working with substance abuse/mental health issues is a plus.
