Transitional Housing Case Manager

The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is actively recruiting for a Transitional Housing Case Manager to work directly with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking through our Violence Intervention and Prevention transitional housing program. Hours for this positions are Sunday-Thursday from 3 pm to 11 pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management and supportive services to victims residing in transitional housing
  • Facilitate support groups and house meetings
  • Assist clients in developing housing and goal plans and working towards identified goals
  • Provide crisis response and other services to all victims served by VIP
  • Collaborate with community partners and coordinate referrals as needed
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed


  • Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in human services or related field and prior related work experience; experience working with victims of crime preferred.
  • Proven de-escalation skills, self-accountability with proven success at meeting goals, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, clean driving history and proof of automobile insurance. FBI, criminal background and child abuse clearances as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,000.00 per year
