The Residential Coordinator will be responsible for modeling and fostering a mindful, nurturing, and trauma informed environment and provide emotional support to residents and residential staff. They will demonstrate thorough understanding of trauma and its impact on physical and emotional well-being of the individual, family, and residential staff. Additionally, the Residential Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Director of Residential Services to supervise and manage residential staff, and prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure that the shelter is adequately staffed 24 hours/day, 7 days per week. They will develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and residents; advocate for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking; be dedicated to the mission of YWCA York.
Education and Qualifications:
BA in human services or related field and two years or more of experience in related social services.
Must complete PCAR/PCCD/PCADV advocate training within 90 days of employment.
