This two-part training equips advocates with practical tools to set and hold boundaries rooted in trauma-informed care. Part One focuses on aligning boundary practices with SAMHSA’s six principles, incorporating background considerations, and using informed consent during intake and advocacy. Part Two explores how fluid boundaries contribute to burnout and offers strategies to set clear limits with clients, colleagues, leadership, and technology. Participants will leave with actionable skills like values clarification and assertive communication to support sustainable, ethical practice.
