Sexual assault on college campuses is a national health issue. In the United States, one in five women and one in 16 men are sexually assaulted while in college, yet more than 90 percent of these survivors do not report the assault.
Why don’t they report?
Update: The Trump Administration declined to protect transgender students from discrimination at school, but in Spring 2021, President Biden issued an Executive Order instructing the Department of Education to protect students from discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender presentation at school.
