ENOLA—The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) and the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts have partnered to release the third edition of Benchbook on Crimes of Sexual Violence in Pennsylvania. The benchbook will help the Commonwealth’s trial judges comply with newly adopted recommendations regarding sexual offender registration and reporting laws featured in the Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Act.

March 2, 2015 - 11:00pmHARRISBURG—Governor Tom Wolf’s proposed budget includes a 10 percent increase for rape crisis services in Pennsylvania, bringing the total funding for 2015-16 to $9,639,000.The increase would help to fortify the services of PCAR and the network of 50 rape crisis centers that provide services to citizens impacted by sexual assault across Pennsylvania’s 67 counties.
