HARRISBURG—The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape and d’Vinci Interactive will host a virtual town hall meeting on April 8 from 7-8:30 p.m. on child sexual abuse and harassment.
Parents, teachers, and other adult caregivers all play a role in preventing child sexual abuse. This town hall highlighting free resources on SafeSecureKids.org will help people understand how they can be part of the solution by talking to the children in their lives about bodies and boundaries. The virtual town hall event will be offered in English and Spanish. The event is free to attend but advanced registration is required. Visit www.SafeSecureKids.org to sign up.
“We all want children to grow up free from sexual harassment and abuse,” PCAR COO Joyce Lukima said. “Events like this town hall help us to spread the word about child sexual abuse prevention and the role each of us play in keeping children safe, healthy, and happy.”
SafeSecureKids.org is a free educational resource designed to help parents, teachers, and caregivers keep children safe from sexual abuse.
