This one-day training workshop will focus on how to interpret effectively for adolescent and adult survivors of sexual violence. It will focus on:
- Best practices for trauma-informed interpreting in sexual assault services.
- Techniques and strategies that support survivor autonomy, beneficial outcomes and access to justice without triggering or retraumatizing survivors.
- How to develop a plan to address long-term wellness and immediate self care before, during and after the assignment.
