Special Education Training
PCAR is seeking to partner with a special education organization, individual or team to provide training on best practices for supporting students with disabilities as guest presenters. Many of our partner rape crisis centers utilize different curricula with students in K-12 schools and many have started to use the Sexuality Education for People with Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) by Elevtaus Training. -
Organizational Wellness Training
PCAR is seeking to partner with an organization, individual, or team to provide a training on organizational wellness for sexual assault center staff. Across the state, especially in rural communities, sexual assault centers face challenges in securing funding, navigating partnerships with allied professionals, and cultivating sustainable community relationships. Advocates are experiencing profound fatigue and burnout. Therefore, PCAR is seeking a training facilitator who can provide a virtual training to assist sexual assault centers with how to embed wellness into their organizational culture. PCAR is seeking proposals from qualified consultant(s), with a budget that aligns with industry standards for similar projects, covering 3 training hours and training content development. -
Safety for Advocates Training
PCAR is seeking to partner with an organization, individual, or team to provide a training on safety for sexual assault center staff. Advocates are increasingly facing safety risks, including harassment from community members, parents, school personnel, and other professionals that are driven in part by intensified public debate and misunderstanding about the role of anti-sexual violence work, especially in rural communities. Therefore, PCAR is seeking a training facilitator who can provide a virtual training to assist sexual assault centers and their staff with how to create and maintain physical and mental safety within their workplace and when working in the community. PCAR is seeking proposals from qualified consultant(s), with a budget that aligns with industry standards for similar projects, covering 3 training hours and training content development. -
ASL Interpreter
We are seeking a team of ASL interpreters that are versed in our mission to end sexual violence. We seek interpreter services that are trauma-informed and approach the work from a language justice perspective. Preferred interpreters would have experience translating topics dealing with various aspects of the prevention and/or intervention of sexual assault, as well as experience interpreting at virtual conferences.

Spoken Language Interpreter
We are seeking a team of spoken language interpreters that are versed in our mission to end sexual violence. We seek interpreter services that are trauma-informed and approach the work from a language justice perspective. Spanish language interpretation skills required, and additional languages may be requested. Preferred interpreters would have experience translating topics dealing with various aspects of the prevention and/or intervention of sexual assault, as well as experience interpreting in virtual spaces.
