All people deserve safety. All people have the right to support and healing after sexual violence. LGBTQ+ young people are integral parts of our communities and have every right to be treated with dignity and respect. Sexual violence advocates and organizations can make a big difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ young survivors of sexual violence by providing empowerment-based, culturally responsive, trauma-informed services that are tailored to the unique needs of the individual and the communities they are a part of. By connecting young people with healing resources and breaking isolation, advocates can support greater well-being.
