Salary Study Consultant

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

Founded in 1975, Respect Together is committed to our mission of preventing and ending sexual abuse, assault and harassment.  Respect Together’s main divisions are the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) and the Pennsylvania Coalition to Advance Respect (PCAR).  The NSVRC, Respect Together’s national division, develops and disseminates resources regarding all aspects of sexual violence prevention and intervention.  PCAR, Respect Together’s statewide division, works to create lasting change by mobilizing advocates, service providers, leaders, and communities to support survivors, advance victims’ rights, and prevent sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. PCAR partners with a network of rape crisis centers to bring help, hope, and healing around issues of sexual violence to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. PCAR assures that communities have access to quality victim services and prevention education by providing funding, training, materials, and assistance to a network of rape crisis centers that serve all of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties. PCAR provides resources and training on sexual assault-related issues to professionals across the Commonwealth.

EXPECTATIONS:

Respect Together is seeking a consultant to conduct two salary studies.

  1. Organization-wide Compensation Study to evaluate our internal salary structure and job descriptions for approximately 50 positions against the competitive labor market.  The goal is to ensure our organization’s current compensation rates are competitive with other nonprofit organizations within our geographic region while also aligning with our long-term fiscal strategy.
  1. Statewide Compensation Study to evaluate the salaries and job descriptions across Pennsylvania’s network of rape crisis centers. The study will help PCAR better understand compensation trends, salary ranges, benefits, and factors that may impact salaries across centers. The study should also consider differences in cost of living across areas of Pennsylvania and how those differences may relate to compensation. The consultant will design and conduct the study, analyze compensation information, and provide clear, useful findings to inform PCAR’s understanding of local salary practices and support future funding and organizational planning.

REQUIREMENTS:

The Statewide Compensation Study will require collaboration with PCAR and partner rape crisis centers.  PCAR will assist with coordinating communication and providing relevant information, while the consultant will be responsible for conducting the study, analyzing data, and developing final deliverables. The consultant may also need to conduct meetings, follow up with partner rape crisis centers, and complete tasks outside of scheduled meetings as needed.

The work will need to be completed by June 30, 2027. The anticipated start date will be January 2027.

ELIGIBILITY:

Current Pennsylvania rape crisis centers as well as current board members of Pennsylvania rape crisis centers are not eligible to apply for this opportunity.
